    1. Sirs,

I have a number of new Italian made, aluminum windows and doors, with double paned glass, that open to the inside, as well as functional aluminum shutters, and marble sills, jambs and headers to match each.

I wonder if you would be interested in helping me figure out how to utilize these components with American home construction technology?

      Regards, Tom

    2. Do you have a project in mind?

      Hello Mark

We live in a 1928 tudor in Evanston IL with original windows. I am looking for someone who can come out and take a look at the windows-most are in decent shape but could still use some work-there are two window where the metal bottom frame has deteriorated and been ‘fixed’ by slapping on many layers of putty> Its my understanding that a better approach would be to weld new metal onto that part of the frame.

In any event, I don’t know if you, or someone you could refer, would come out for a consultation. It is hard to locate experts in restoring, rather than replacing, these windows.

      Lolla
